先日、スタートさせますと告知した、ブッククラブのガイド役になってくれるネイティブの方のご紹介したいと思います＾＾
とある仕事で一緒だった人なのですが、「あ、ブッククラブはこの人だ！！」
と私がピンと来た人。
もちろん、どこでも人材確保は大変だと思いますが・・・・
SGは、教室的なレッスンをする場所ではないし、SGのやっている事や、おうち英語自体、日本人の人にさえ、ピンとくるように説明するのはかなり大変なんですよね。
なのに、英語を生かしたバイトしたいな～くらいで応募してきた外国人に、私の求めるものを理解してもらうのは至難の業・・・
でも、私にとって、SGがSGであるために、そこは絶対はずせないので、面接や説明には、アホみたいに、ものすんごい時間かけます。
で、そこできちんとわかってくれた人の中から、いろいろなイベントにオファーをかけます。
ま、そこんとこも、またブログに気が向いたら書こかな（笑）
んー、とにかく、ぴったりな人が見つかって嬉しいな～。

Meet Ruben!
He is a university student at Ritsumeikan in Kyoto.
He is originally from Puerto Rico, and can speak Spanish, English, and a little itty bit of Japanese.
Ruben loves to read!
His favorite books are the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan , but he is also a huge fan of Harry Potter, Lemony Snicket, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and so much more!

Join us at the Story Garden Book Club, where you and some friends can share the magic of reading and the happiness of sharing stories together… in English!
At the book club, we will read a fun book, and then meet with friends to talk about it!
Talk to us about your favorite character or favorite chapter from the book, and listen to other friends’ opinions about the book!
Let’s share ideas about the book together! You can join the teen book club and participate in group discussions and team activities such as English trivia challenges based on the themes of the book. Or join the kids book club and participate in drawing scenes and playing English games based on the book.
Enjoy reading in English, and have fun talking about stories with us in English, at the Story Garden Book Club! Please join us!”
